Please reach us at appliancerepairofphoenix@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

If your dryer not heating is the issue, common causes include a blown thermal fuse, faulty heating element, bad gas valve solenoid (for gas dryers), or a defective thermostat. A dryer won't heat often runs but produces no warmth, leaving clothes damp after a full cycle. In many cases, restricted airflow from a clogged vent can also trigger overheating protection and stop the heating system from working properly.

If your dryer is not drying clothes completely, the issue is often restricted airflow, a clogged lint trap, a blocked vent line, or a weak heating element. When a dryer runs but clothes stay damp, poor ventilation is usually the main cause. Overloading the dryer can also reduce drying efficiency.

A dryer making loud noise during operation may indicate worn drum rollers, a damaged idler pulley, loose blower wheel, or motor problems. Thumping sounds often point to flat-spotted rollers, while grinding or scraping noises may signal worn bearings.

If your dryer not turning on, possible causes include a blown thermal fuse, faulty door switch, defective start switch, or electrical power issue. If power is present but the dryer remains unresponsive, internal components such as the control board or timer may need professional inspection.
