Is Your Oven Broken or In Need of Repair? Get Service Today!

Please reach us at appliancerepairofphoenix@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

If your electric oven is not heating up, the issue is usually a faulty bake element, temperature sensor, blown fuse, or control board problem. When a Frigidaire oven is not heating or a Kenmore oven is not heating, the cause may be a burned-out element (electric models) or a weak igniter (gas models). If your Frigidaire gas oven is not heating, the igniter is the most common failure, especially if it glows but doesn’t light the burner. If basic resets don’t fix the issue, professional diagnosis is typically required.

If your oven door is not closing, the most common causes are worn door hinges, a damaged door seal (gasket), or a misaligned latch. A Wolf oven door not closing is often due to heavy-duty hinge wear or improper reinstall after cleaning, while a Whirlpool oven door not closing properly is frequently caused by a loose hinge or bent receiver bracket. Food debris or a warped gasket can also prevent a tight seal. If the door won’t fully shut or pops back open, the hinges typically need adjustment or replacement.

When your oven is overheating the most common cause is a faulty temperature sensor, thermostat, or control board that isn’t regulating heat properly. If you’re wondering, why is my oven overheating, it’s usually because the sensor is misreading the internal temperature and continuing to send power to the heating element. When you notice oven overheating and cutting out, the appliance may be tripping a safety thermal fuse to prevent damage. Overheating issues should be repaired quickly to avoid damaging internal components or creating a fire hazard.
